Oak Grove Middle School, located just west of Hattiesburg in the Oak Grove Community, is a Star performing school, the highest rating available in the state of Mississippi. OGMS serves grades 6-8 and currently serves over 1300 students. OGMS students are part of the Lamar County School District, which has a rich tradition of academic and extracurricular success.
