Prepare for the MCT:
- Keep disruptions at home to a
minimum.
- Make sure your child gets
plenty of rest, especially a good night’s sleep.
- Explain the importance of
this test but do so in a manner that does not
create anxiety.
- Get your child to school on
time.
- Provide a healthy,
well-balanced breakfast.
- Encourage your child to do
his/her best on the test.
- Make sure students have
plenty of sharpened Number 2 pencils.
- Suggest comfortable clothing
for test week.
- Avoid absences during test
days.
