Writers' Showcase Winners Announced

On May 2, 2006, the Hattiesburg American presented their 11th annual Writers' Showcase edition of the newspaper featuring stories, photography, and artwork by students in surrounding schools.  Lamar County schools trumped the competition with 27 winners from Oak Grove Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, Middle School and High School.  The eight winning entries from OGMS are posted below along with links to their respective stories/artwork.
