 A
television crew of 5 from a local television station
visited Oak Grove Middle School. In an effort
to spotlight South Mississippi school achievement,
WXXV-TV, FOX
25 in conjunction with the
Area Development
Partnership visited OGMS on Wednesday, September 19th.
 Two
math rooms were featured in the TV ad with students
from Ms. Sandra Barners' and Ms. Jenny Doleacs'
classes. These two ladies share the
distinction of having the top algebra scores for all
schools in the state of Mississippi. Their
students have consistently remained in the top ten
for math scores for over five years. Speaking
on behalf of OGMS were Ms. Doleac and one of her
students, Rachel. Oak Grove Middle School once
again remains in the top ten of all schools in the
area of academic achievement for the second year
running.
 Be
on the lookout on FOX 25 for the commercial which is
scheduled to air from the first of October through
