OGMS is 1of only 4 schools in the
state to be named a National Blue Ribbon School for
2008. Only 320 schools in the entire nation received
the honor this year. OGMS is 1 of only 4 Mississippi
schools to be named a Blue Ribbon School for 2008.
This honor is awarded to schools that
are academically superior or show dramatic gains in
student achievement. OGMS
will be honored at an awards ceremony in Washington,
DC later this year. Congrats!!!! Note: This story was written by 8th grade
