Miriam Ford was elected as the State Reporter for
Junior BETA for the 2009-2010 school year. She
attended the National BETA Convention in Orlando, FL
June 13 - 16, 2009 and served as a national voting
delegate. Miriam Ford, an 8th grade student at Oak
Grove Middle School will represent Mississippi at
the Broyhill Leadership Conference for Beta
officers.
BETA BLC was held on the campus of
Limestone University in Gaffney, South Carolina from
July 16-20, 2009. One of the highlights of the trip
was a tour of the National Beta Club Headquarters in
Spartanburg, SC.
Miriam is currently the State
Reporter for the Mississippi Junior Beta Club. She
is the daughter of Jeff and Wanda Ford. |
